Oliver Aguilar passed away on February 26, 2025, at the age of 81. He was born on March 4, 1943, to Fidencio and Benicia Mata Aguilar.

Mr. Aguilar is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Domingo (Bianca) Mata, Maria G. (Gustavo) Villarreal, Isidro (Sara) Mata, Jesus (Oralia) Mata, Dolores (Marcos) Torres, Elida (Guadalupe) Santos, Englantina "Tina" (Jesse) Colon and Roberto Aguilar.

Mr. Aguilar is survived by his loving wife, Mary J. Aguilar; children, Michael (Jillian) Aguilar, Maria A. (Eugene) Tovar, Oliver Aguilar Jr. and his grandchildren, Iris Aguilar, Ansel Aguilar, Luke Tovar, Joshua Aguilar, Brianna Aguilar, Olivia Aguilar and his sister Sulema (Tony) Muskat. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025, at Peters Funeral Home from 11:00a.m. to 1:00p.m. with a Prayer Service at 12:00p.m. Interment will follow at the Cotulla Southwest Cemetery.
