Obituary

Pedro Saldivar Jr, 74, passed away on July 1, 2022 in the comfort of his home, where he was surrounded by his loving family.
Pedro, also known as "Chipa" was born on March 9, 1948, in Cotulla, TX, to Pedro & Olivia Saldivar. Pedro was the oldest of three children, sister Yolanda and brother Rolando. He defined his life as a loving Father, Grandfather, Brother, Son, Tio, Primo, Friend and a devoted servant to our Lord, Jesus Christ. Pedro was known for being a man of faith, strong willed, hard working and someone who gave to anyone in need. He loved eating sweets, going to Luby's, watching sports, singing, and eating more sweets. His love & joy came from giving his time to the church and being surrounded by his family.
Pedro is proceeded in death by his parents, brother, Rolando Saldivar & granddaughter Kaylani Renae Joseph.
Pedro is survived by his loving children, Pedro Saldivar III & wife Nathali, Raul Saldivar, Elisabet Joseph & husband James, Isaac Saldivar & wife Carla, & Yvonne Gutierrez & husband Joseph, and sister Yolanda Martinez. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and relatives.


Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at Peters Funeral Home from 5:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. with a Prayer Service at 6:00p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2022, at the First United Methodist Church of Cotulla at 9:00a.m.
