October 18, 1927 - September 11, 2012

Petra S. Nieto, a life-long resident of Encinal, passed away on September 11, 2012 at the age of 84. Mrs. Nieto was born and raised in Encinal, TX by her parents, Andres and Juana Soto. She was a devout Catholic and loving mother/grandmother.

Mrs. Nieto is preceded in death by her spouse, Noe Nieto; and brothers, Federico Soto, and Leonardo Soto.

Mrs. Nieto is survived by her daughter, San Juanita Riojas of Laredo; son, Federico Nieto of Encinal; six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Visitations for Mrs. Nieto will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at Peters Funeral Home in Cotulla from 4:00-9:00PM. with a Rosary at 7:00PM .

Funeral Services for Mrs. Nieto will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Encinal, TX at 10:00 AM.  There will be no funeral procession from Peters Funeral Home. Everyone will meet at church.

Interment will follow at the Encinal City Cemetery.
