Pierce (Buck) Seidel of Cotulla, TX. died Thursday, March 3, 2016 at 79 years of age in San Antonio, TX. Buck was born in String Prairie, TX. April 6, 1936 to Frank and Genoveva Seidel.
Mr. Seidel is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lorraine; brothers, Leonard, Leo, Albert (Pete), Arthur and Phillip.
Buck worked as a heavy equipment operator for over 30 years, specializing in constructing stock tanks. This job took him to many areas of South Texas and allowed him to work outdoors which he dearly loved. His hobbies included gardening and raising cattle. He especially enjoyed sharing his garden harvest among his family and friends.
Mr. Seidel is survived by his of almost 55 years, Elizabeth Ann Seidel; sons, Darrel and wife Cheryl Seidel of Sanderson, TX and Charles and wife Sandra Seidel of Cotulla, TX.; grandchildren, Darren and Megan Seidel of Sanderson, TX. and Charles II and Regina Seidel of Cotulla, TX.; great granddaughter, Harper Mackenzie Seidel of Cotulla, TX.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Peters Funeral Home in Cotulla. Services will be held on Monday, March 7, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Peters Funeral Home with interment to follow at the Cotulla East Cemetery. Pallbearers are Darren Seidel, Charles Seidel II, Troy Seidel, Rogelio Del Toro, Alex Narvaiz and Richard Tetzlaff. Honorary Pallbearers are Jones Lansford and Frank Arrizola.
