Porfiria Garza of Cotulla passed away on July 15, 2012.

Mrs. Garza is preceded in death by her parents: Juan G. and Dolores L. Casas; brother: John L. Casas; and one nephew.

Mrs. Garza is survived by her sisters: Mary L. Green of San Antonio, TX, Evelyn C. Valdez of San Antonio, TX, and Elvia Tepper of Midlothian, IL. Mrs. Garza is also survived by 6 nieces.

Mrs. Garza was a very hands-on person. She loved to garden, do arts and crafts, and bake. She will be dearly missed by all her family members.

Visitations for Mrs. Garza will be held on Friday, July 20, 2012 at Peters Funeral Home from 4:00-9:00PM. with a Rosary at 7:00PM .

Funeral Services for Mrs. Garza will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cotulla, TX at 10:00AM.

Interment will follow at the Cristo Rey Cemetery.

Pallbearers are: Jake cruz, Josua Cruz, Elena Chreene, Raul Platas, Ricardo Platas, and Rene Platas.
