Raymundo G. Villarreal, known to everyone as "Popo" passed away on April 19, 2024. He was born on December 5, 1940, in Cotulla, Texas to Heraclio and Gregoria Villarreal.

Mr. Villarreal is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Heraclio Villarreal Jr. and sister, Margarita (Robert) Ondarza.

Mr. Villarreal is survived by his wife of 64 years Maria Concepcion Villarreal; children, Victor (Marisa) Villarreal, Sandi (Joe) Ibarra and Gregoria (Martin) Martinez; sister, Maria Concepcion (Oscar) Alvarado and sister-in-law, Christel Villarreal. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Popo enjoyed being outside swinging on his swing with the love of his life. He also enjoyed having his children and grandchildren come by for a visit. He was a funny man, always saying silly things and making everyone laugh. He will be missed by all.

Pallbearers will be Hector Ramirez Jr., Homero Ramirez, Edward Ramirez, Harley Ramirez, Victor Saul Villarreal, and Colby Ortiz.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024, at 10:00a.m. at the Cotulla Southwest Cemetery.
