Refugio Salinas Garza of Cotulla passed away on April 4, 2013 at the age of 71. He was born on January 6, 1942 to Roberto and Guadalupe Garza.

Mr. Garza is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers; Roberto Garza, Jr, Antonio Garza, Arturo Garza, and Jesse Garza.

Mr. Garza is survived by his wife, Atanacia Garza; children; Elsa (Victor) Mendoza, Ester (Isidro) Serrano, and Refugio (Jennifer) Garza, Jr.; grandchildren, Daniel Lee Garza and Michael Robert Garza; siblings, Ramiro Garza, Ernesto Garza, Homero Garza, Gloria Gonzalez, and Guadalupe Diaz. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitations will be held at Peters Funeral Home on Monday, April 8, 2013 from 8:00 a.m.- 10:00 a.m.  for family and 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. for the public. Funeral Services will begin shortly after visitation at 10:00 a.m.

Interment will follow at the Cotulla East Cemetery.
