Reynaldo S. Guzman Sr. passed away on November 13, 2015, at the age of 79. He was born on March 23, 1936 to Pablo and Maria Guzman.
Mr. Guzman is preceded in death by his parents; son, Roberto Guzman and brothers, Pablo Guzman and Pedro Guzman.
Mr. Guzman is survived by his loving wife, Elida V. Guzman; children, Lazaro (Delia) Guzman Sr., RosaAna (Augustin) Martinez, Reynaldo (Diana) Guzman Jr., Ruben (Christine) Guzman, Sylvia (Arturo) Campos, and Juan Guzman; he also raised his two grandchildren, Lazaro Guzman Jr. and Ashley Guzman; siblings, Arturo (Maria) Guzman and Maria Isabel Guzman.; grandchildren, Margarita Martinez Monica Martinez, Lauro Guzman, Raul Reynaldo Guzman, Ratasha Guzman, Ruben Guzman Jr., Rhett Guzman, Veronica Garcia, Abel Garcia, Javier Garcia, Lyzette Guzman, LisaRae Guzman and Lacey Guzman; great grandchildren, Derryn M. Ramirez, Ryan Castro, Aubrey Guzman, Rylan Guzman, Mickaela Guzman, Karissa Garcia, Aiden Garcia, Abel Garcia III, John Toby Garcia, Sebastian Garcia, Javier Garcia III, Gabriel Garcia, Anabel Garcia and Jasmin Garcia. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Peters Funeal Home from 5:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00p.m. Services will be held on Monday, November 16, 2015 at 10:00a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Cotulla East Cemetery. Pallbearers include, Lazaro Guzman Sr., Lazaro Guzman Jr., Lauro Guzman, Raul Guzman, Juan Guzman and Reynaldo Guzman Jr.
