Roberto De Los Santos passed away on December 12, 2015. A lifelong resident of Cotulla, Texas, he was born on December 31, 1945 to Juanita (Perales, later Herrera) and Jose Angel De Los Santos. He never married
Weeks short of his 70th birthday, cancer took his life but he died at peace in his home after being visited by friends and family. He claimed his faith making the sign of the cross, a framed collage of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Mary by his bedside and slipped away in his sleep.
Roberto is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Angel De Los Santos and Juanita Perales Herrera; sister, Margarita Valle (husband Joe, nephews John and Robert). He is survived by brothers Luis De Los Santos and Arturo De Los Santos (wife Juanita); nephew, Arturo De Los Santos Jr.; niece, Irene De Los Santos – Sierra (husband Robert); grandniece Amy De Los Santos; grandnephew, Jabin Sierra and half-brothers, Juan Jose Herrera and Andres Herrera.
