When Death Has Died
When death has died,
and is no more,
When I shall awake,
on the Golden Shore,
That Stinger pulled,
From grievous death,
When my new body,
Draws eternal breath,
When sin has struck,
Its final blow,
God's true love,
I shall fully know.
On that blessed day,
Grieve not for me.
Give sorrow no hold,
For I am free.
