Rosa Elder Cruz passed away on February 6, 2021 at the age of 79. She was born on July 7, 1941 to Fernando and Sara Moreno.

Mrs. Cruz is preceded in death by her husband, Alfredo Cruz; parents and her siblings, Lucio Moreno, Delia Lopez, Mario Moreno, Pepe Moreno and Chonita Moreno.

Mrs. Cruz is survived by her son, Esteban Cruz and his children, Esteban Cruz Jr. (Alicia), Elizar Cruz (Ausenett) and Cristian Cruz (Araceli); daughter, Maribel (Bernardo) Castor and their children, Sarah Castor, Benny Rey Castor (Analicia), Selena Perez (Jacob), Kimathy Castor and Bernardo Castor Jr.; son, Ernesto (Cynthia) Cruz and their children, Ernesto Cruz Jr. (Nikki), Xciana Cruz (Johnny), Edwardo Cruz and Celisia Cruz; brothers, Freddy (Rosa) Moreno and Jesse (Ofelia) Moreno. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Peters Funeral Home from 5:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Peters Funeral Home at 10:00a.m. Interment will follow at the Cotulla East Cemetery.
