Salome G. Ruiz passed away on November 30, 2023, at the age of 81. He was born on April 28, 1942, to Cristobal and Venida Ruiz.

Mr. Ruiz is preceded in death by his wife, Elvira M. Ruiz; son, Fernando Ruiz; brother, Ramon Ruiz; sister, Olga R. Realme and granddaughter, Brandi Raye Ruiz.

Mr. Ruiz is survived by his children, Juan (Sylvia) Ruiz, Oralia R. (Freddy) Gonzalez, Salome Ruiz Jr., Criselda R. (Fernando) Gonzalez, Jesus Cristobal (Laura) Ruiz and Raquel R. (Michael) Pena; brothers, Cristobal Ruiz, Jose Angel Ruiz and Guadalupe Ruiz; sisters, Teresa R. (Jose Angel) Nunez and Alma Mendez. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be, Fernando Gonzalez Jr., Andrew Isaiah Gonzalez, Cristina Nicole Gonzalez, Dion Matthew Ward, Amanda Alyssa Aguilar, Blanca Leah Rios and Carla Leann Rios.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 4, 2023, at Peters Funeral Home from 5:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at 10:00a.m. at Peters Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Cotulla East Cemetery.
