Santos A. Garcia of Cotulla passed away on June 23, 2014 at the age of 65. He was born in Cotulla on September 29, 1948 to Manuel and Santos Gonzalez Garcia.

Mr. Garcia is preceded in death by his parents Manuel and Santos Garcia; spouse; Sylvia M. Garcia, sisters; Carolina Vela, Josefina Casillas and brother Julian Garcia..

Mr. Garcia is survived by his daughters, Thelma G. Lumbreras (Jesse) and Sylvia G. Galvan, brother; Manuel Garcia (Orvilia) and sister; Rosa Aguero (Reyes). He was also survived by his grandchildren Ryan Michael Garcia (Alyssa), Jesse Lumbreras, Lawrence Lumbreras, Alyssa Lumbreras, Luis Almendarez Jr., Jose Manuel Galvan, Erubiel Julian Galvan and great-grandchildren Eloi Garcia, Xochipil Garcia and Mila Garcia along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitations for Mr. Garcia will be held on Friday, June 27, 2014 at Peters Funeral Home from 6:00 - 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm.

Funeral Services were held on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cotulla at 9:30 am. Inurnment will be followed at a later date.
