Santos Tellez Ramirez, Sr. of Devine passed away on May 2, 2013 at the age of 85. He was born on October 18, 1927 to Salvador and Jesusita Ramirez.

Mr. Ramirez is preceded in death by his parents; children, Ruben Ramirez and Yolanda Ramirez; and siblings, Yolanda Ramirez, Esperanza Garza, Arturo Ramirez, Sylvia Aniz, and Ernestina Pena.

Mr. Ramirez is survived by his wife, Lilia L. Ramirez; children, Thelma Ramirez, Santos (Mary Ellen) Ramirez, Jr., Dora Linda R. (David S.) Cano, and David (Agnes) Ramirez; grandchildren, David and wife Yadira, Mark and wife Pamela, Josh, Briana, Valaree, Dominique and husband Chris, Debora, Ricky, Ruben Jr, Robert and wife Martha, Roel and wife Angela, Ruby, Ruben and wife Adria, Rene and wife Sonia, and Rubina; siblings, Salvador (Bertha) Ramirez, Jr., Rafaela (Carlos) Gonzalez, Eunice (Marcelino) Ochoa, Valentin (Susana †) Ramirez, and Esther Cortez; in-laws, Hector Garza, David Aniz, Alfredo Cortez, Zulema Ramirez, and Ruben Pena; 22 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-children, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitations for the public will be held at Peters Funeral Home on Sunday, May 5, 2013 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm with a service at 6:30pm.

Funeral services will be held at Peters Funeral Home on Monday, May 6, 2013 at 10:00 am.

Interment will follow at Cristo Rey Cemetery.
