Senon Cruz passed away on May 16, 2019 at the age of 62. He was born on February 14, 1957 to Jesus and Manuela Cruz.

Mr. Cruz is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Sabas Cruz and Jesus Cruz.

Mr. Cruz is survived by his spouse, Mirtha R. Nunez; sons, Dwayne Cruz and Senon Cruz; Traci Grassmuck; grandchildren, Emma Cruz and Sydney Cruz and his siblings, Francisca (Santos) Garcia, Juan (Maria) Cruz, Oscar (Rosalva) Cruz, Santos (Melissa) Cruz and Angel Cruz.

Senon Cruz, loved always, forgotten never.

Cherished by many for his compassion and willingness to help others.  Anyone who knew Senon has a beloved story of his kindness or his sense of humor.  So many kids loved him for his constant presence and for the example he set, knowing he cared deeply and was always there with a hug or a big wave and a smile.

It will always be an honor to remember him as our friend, father, grandfather, tio, and many other names.  His battle was courageous and he wanted it known that he died as a result of being stubborn and refusing to follow orders & raising hell for over 6 decades.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 24, 2019 at Peters Funeral Home from 4:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 10:00a.m. Interment will follow at the Cotulla East Cemetery.
