Sylvia M. Garcia of Cotulla passed away on October 3, 2013 at the age of 61. She was born in Racine WI. on May 12,1952 to Eloigo and Eloisa Montemayor.

Mrs. Garcia is preceded in death by her parents; brother Johnnie Montemayor as well as two other younger brothers.

Mrs. Garcia is survived her husband, Santos A. Garcia; daughters, Thelma G. (Jesse) Lumbreras and Sylvia G. Galvan; grandsons, Ryan Michael (Alyssa) Garcia, Jesse Lumbreras, Lawrence Lumbreras, Luis Almendarez Jr., Jose Manuel Galvan and Erubiel Julian Galvan; granddaughter, Alyssa Lumbreras; great-grandson, Eloi Gonzalez; great-granddaughters, Xochipil Garcia and Mila Garcia; brothers, Hilario (Deborah) Montemayor and Andres Montemayor. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will be held at Peters Funeral Home on Sunday, October 6, 2013 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm. Services will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Monday, October 7, 2013 at 9:30am.
