Veronica Diaz of Dilley passed away on January 26, 2014 at the age of 47. She was born on November 16, 1966 in Falfurrias, TX. to Filomeno Diaz and Magdalena Cantu.

Ms. Diaz is preceded in death by her aunt Julia D. Chavarria and uncle Baldemar Leal.

Ms. Diaz is survived by her parents; children, Jose A. Diaz of Hebbronville, TX., Luisana Diaz and husband Pedro Ortiz of Dilley, TX., Georgina Mendez of Hebbronville, TX., Javier Diaz of Hebbronville, TX. and Oziel Diaz of Hebbronville, TX.; grandmother, Theodora L. Diaz of Hebbronville, TX. and close friend Jessica Moreno. She is also survived by 7 brothers and sisters, 8 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
