Bert Ringer Jr., age 68, died peacefully at home from cancer on October 8, 2019 in Cotulla, Texas.

He was born August 3, 1951 to Wilbert Ringer Sr., (Big Bert) and Helen (Norton) Ringer. He was preceded in death by his father. Big Bert and he is survived by his mother, Helen.

Bert is also survived by his wife of 46 years, Shirley (White), two sons, Trey Ringer and Billy Bob Ringer and his wife Teri Lynn (Roberts), two grandchildren, Cuatro and Emaleigh Lynn. He's also survived by his brother, Horace Ringer and wife Debi, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bert was a sensible, calm and easy-going man who enjoyed hunting, fishing and working with his horses and dogs.

He will always be remembered for his sense of huor and his "common-sense" approach to life. He will be dearly missed.

A Memorial Service will be held at his home on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 2:00pm.
